Welcome to Thai Sabai,

We are a fully licensed and air conditioned restaurant located in the heart of Headingley on North Lane opposite Trio's Bar, close to the Headingley Carnegie Stadium and just a few minutes from Leeds city centre

 
The words Thai Sabai mean ‘a place to relax', a phrase that encapsulates our philosophy of simple décor and friendly attentive service combined with exquisitely flavoured authentic Thai cuisine.
 
The menu is extensive with two full pages of vegetarian options, we also cater for gluton free diets and many of our dishes would be suitable for vegans. We have a good selection of home made ice creams and alternatives to the more traditional Thai desserts. You will find the menu prices surprisingly reasonable and the wine list has been carefully chosen to compliment and compete with the food.
 
When you eat at Thai Sabai it is important to remember that almost everything on our menu is cooked to order which means you don't have to worry that something you may choose is going to be too spicy for you. You simply find a dish on the menu which has the ingredients that you like the sound of and we will make it as mild or as hot as you want it.
 
You can also enjoy our food at home or in the office, we offer takeaway to collect or ask about our takeaway delivery service. (Takeaway menu is discounted by around 10%) .

Thai Sabai is an excellent party venue, it could be a birthday, office party, Christmas party or a graduation celebration we can accommodate up to 45 people for a sit down meal or 60 for a buffet. As we also have an English chef on the staff this gives us the flexibility to offer alternatives and produce menus to suit your requirements.

Outside catering in the venue of your choice is also an option to consider.
 
Located in the heart of the student community we offer STUDENT DISCOUNTS and allow B.Y.O. Wine on certain days – call us for details.

 


Our large range of over 80 beautiful dishes includes Tom Yum seafood soup, Tod Man Pla - spicy Thai-style fish cakes, Gai Hor Bai Toey - seasoned chicken pieces wrapped in Pandan leaves, steamed then flash fried and served with sweet chilli sauce, Gang Kiew Wan which is Thai green chicken curry, to name a few, our portions are very generous and the only problem you will have is which meal to choose!

A full range of stir fries and rice and noodle dishes are also available and vegetarians will have a field day too thanks to an impressive vegetarian menu which offers plenty of choice for non-meat eaters.

Lunch – Thurs to Sun – 12 noon to 2.30pm
